Movie Thoughts — Jesus Camp

I don't know about anyone else, but I have lately found myself quite interested in religion (and religions in the specific sense), and after taking a course dedicated to examining the differences between religions, I am more interested than ever in examining their little quirks.  For anyone who shares a like interest in religion, I would highly recommend viewing the film Jesus Camp.  While it takes an obvious stance on what it thinks about  religion (specifically Christianity), I think it shows some of the amazing sides to religion that we tend to forget about.  I won't try to create any sort of review of the film here, as I don't want to sway anyone's opinion this way or that before they view it, but I would recommend seeing it soon.  And simply considering what religion means to you.

Beautiful!!! I love the design of the site, and especially like the "succulent-looking" plant border at the top.

I'm sorry to have missed my chance to see the movie - your write-up encourages me to re-rent it.

Chao chao...

just saw Jesus Camp myself, i appreciate the fact that the movie’s makers let the people interviewed do all the talking... over all, there is some truth in this flick as long as it's taken with a grain (or maybe a bucket) of salt
